Yo… Bit disappointed that this release does not feature the nipple being slit open with a razor blade. I don’t understand how the re-release of Cannibal Holocaust on dvd can still include that dude having his meat and two veg hacked off in all its glory and yet seven seconds of a nipple being cut off has not been included here.

Being a massive fulci hack finding this move was a shock and suprise. Im glad that there is a dvd label who 1 have the balls to release rare and classic trash/grind house/euroshock moves 2 give us the best possible versions picture quality etc 3 produce the longest legal versions. Keep it up chaps theres still hell of a lot to release ( hopefully lucio fulcis conquest and roman gladiators uncut)

Keep up the good work with releasing great movies with great dvd covers. I have bought 7 Shamelss movies last week and i like all of them. Thanks to you i could add footprints to my collection and you did a very good job with it. I hope to see more Italian eurocrimes and giallos from you. Keep it up. You have many costumers in sweden keep that in mind.

I bought this film the other day fully uncut. the whole 93 mins as fulci intended. i’m not missing out on 6 minutes of class film. The bbfc knows damn well that most horror fans will have seen the uncut version. films like this have been passed through the underground uncut for years.
Dave_id all you gotta do is look around for a little while and you will get the full release. and dont believe them when they say this film is cut by 37 seconds. even the version you could get hold of 10 years ago if you looked hard enough was 91 mins.

The problem is that NYR can’t get through uncut in the UK and Shameless aren’t hiding that. It is though the correct and longest version of the film ever released here but until the BBFC start enjoying nipple slicing it ain’t getting through.

Head over to the Shameless MySpace and you’ll find out which films will be cut and which won’t – http://www.myspace.com/shamelessdvd. NYR will be cut, Torso will be uncut for the first time, as will Phantom of Death and Killer Nun. Again they’re also the longest versions of the films.

It’s nigh on impossible to launch an exploitation label these days in the UK (it’s taken a year thus far). Retail support is hard to get and people don’t like cuts but we have to start somewhere and most of the films will be available for the first time on UK DVD.

As an avid collector of Euro-cult horror films, I’m always on the look out for the most complete versions or director-intended cuts of these films. Global e-tailers have opened up the market so I can easily find them with a bit of research and networking. Why on earth release an incomplete version of a film – especially since it goes against your company’s vision to showcase all sorts of rare delights with the longest, best available versions of each film released at the low RRP of £12.99?

one of fulci’s goriest works mixing slash and sex.
shame the nipple slicing scene was cut,anyhow worth watching.
